Case studies

Delivered work, described honestly

This page separates three different things, because they carry very different weight: verified case studies, anonymised engagement summaries, and illustrative workflow examples. Nothing numeric is published until it has a baseline, a measurement method and written client approval.

Verified case study

With baseline, measurement and client approval

A case study only appears in this band once every field below has been completed and the client has approved publication in writing.

None published yet

Several engagements are candidates, but none has completed baseline verification and written client approval. Rather than publish figures we cannot yet evidence, this section stays empty until they are ready.

If you would like to discuss the detail of a relevant engagement, that conversation can happen directly — and where a client has agreed to act as a reference, an introduction can be arranged after an initial call.

Anonymised engagement

What was delivered, without the client named

Real engagements described by sector and scope. No organisation is identified and no performance figures are quoted.

Retail & distribution

Business challenge

Inventory and sales reporting was rebuilt by hand each week, so reorder decisions were made on figures that were already several days old.

Work delivered

Automated inventory data collection first, as a standalone phase, then sales reporting and reorder recommendations once the data flow was proven.

Systems involved

Store systems, spreadsheets, reporting layer

Results: not published. Baseline verification and client approval are outstanding for this engagement.
Manufacturing

Business challenge

Digital initiatives were being selected individually, without an agreed order of work or a view of which one addressed the actual constraint.

Work delivered

A current-state process map, a bottleneck analysis, and a phased roadmap sequenced so each phase delivered a usable capability on its own.

Systems involved

ERP, production planning, reporting

Results: not published. Baseline verification and client approval are outstanding for this engagement.
Financial services

Business challenge

First-line customer enquiries arrived across several channels and were answered inconsistently depending on who picked them up.

Work delivered

Classification and triage of inbound enquiries, answers grounded in approved documents, and escalation to the service team with the full history attached.

Systems involved

Email, web forms, CRM, document store

Results: not published. Baseline verification and client approval are outstanding for this engagement.
Logistics

Business challenge

A startup needed a platform for a validated core journey, with scheduling and routing that reflected live operational constraints.

Work delivered

A fixed-scope build covering the core customer journey, deployed on the client’s own infrastructure with documentation and handover.

Systems involved

Custom platform, mapping and scheduling services

Results: not published. Baseline verification and client approval are outstanding for this engagement.
Illustrative example

How a workflow changes shape

Constructed examples showing the pattern of the work. These are not client engagements and contain no client data.

Dashed steps are human by design. Highlighted steps are where AI is applied — and only where it is doing work a simple rule could not.

The format

What a verified case study must contain

Every field is mandatory. A case study missing any one of them stays in the anonymised band instead.

Situation

Established before any work began

  • Client or approved anonymous description — named only with written consent
  • Business problem — in the client's own framing
  • Baseline — the measured starting position, stated explicitly
Work

What was actually done

  • Work delivered — including what was deliberately not built
  • Timeline — phases and elapsed duration
  • Measurement method — how the result was captured and by whom
Outcome

What can be evidenced

  • Result — measured against the stated baseline
  • Scope limitations — what the figure does and does not cover
  • Client approval status — who approved publication, and when

What will never appear here

Invented clients, borrowed logos, unattributed metrics, or results quoted without the baseline that produced them. An empty band is more useful to you than a decorated one.

Questions we get asked

Why are there no numbers on this page?

Because none of the candidate figures has completed verification. A percentage without a stated baseline, a measurement method and client approval is not evidence, and publishing it would undermine everything else on the site.

Why are clients not named?

Some engagements sit under confidentiality agreements, and written permission to use a name or logo has not been obtained for the others. Where a name cannot be used, the engagement appears anonymised rather than dressed up.

Can we speak to a reference?

Where a client has agreed to act as a reference, an introduction can be arranged after an initial call, once it is clear which engagement is relevant to yours.

Will our project be published?

Only with your written approval, and only in the form you approve — anonymised, named, or not at all. It is not a condition of working together.

Next step

Describe the problem you would want written up

If your operation has a bottleneck that looks like one of the examples above, the first step is the same: a 30-minute call to map it and establish whether it is worth addressing.

No obligation. If automation is not the right next step for you, we will say so on the call.
